Savant Capital, a wealth management firm headquartered in Rockford, announced earlier this month that it has reached $5 billion in assets under management.
Savant announced the accomplishment on Monday. The firm has grown over 400 percent since 2007 and has expanded its team to achieve this new high mark in assets. The company now has new capabilities, locations and clients from around the globe. In addition to the growing team, Savant has clients with five merger and acquisition transactions.
“Team Savant accomplished this goal together, despite the challenges of the financial crisis and other curve balls along the way,” Brent Brodeski, CEO of Savant, said. “We believe our persistence in being innovative, making smart decisions and driving forward, has helped create significant value for countless families in the process. Along the way, we have become one of the nation’s largest wealth management firms. I am immensely proud of what our team has accomplished.”
In addition to Savant's Rockford headquarters, the 30-year-old company also has offices in Chicago, Freeport, Peoria and several other cities in Illinois. Savant offers investment management in financial planning, retirement planning, tax preparation and more.
