Heyl Royster law firm announced earlier this week that it has partnered with two new attorneys. Matthew Thompson will be located in the Peoria office, and Ann Barron will be in the Edwardsville location.
Thompson previously worked for Heyl Royster in 2007 as a summer associate. He currently is a regular columnist for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel’s IDC Quarterly. His concentration is in civil litigation, including medical malpractice. He graduated cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
Barron also specializes in civil litigation, including environmental and business disputes. She began her career as a law clerk for the Illinois Supreme Court. She served Judge James D. Heiple. After clerking, she worked at several law firms in the St. Louis area. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law.
