The bid deadline for the Sloane's Gate Multi-Family Development Site in North Fort Myers, Florida, was announced by Hilco Real Estate LLC (HRE) on May 22. Qualifying bids are due by 5 p.m. EST on July 13.
Zoning for the property allows for more than 550 units on the more than 100 acres, or approximately five units per acre. The site is located minutes from The Shoppes of Del Prado, which includes Publix and Walgreens stores, on Del Prado Boulevard.
The current permits allow a total of 550 units, with a variety of multi-family building types. There is some flexibility in the building styles, including carriage houses, townhouses and apartment buildings. Development, water management, water use and Army Corps of Engineers permits are already approved.
"Rarely is a fully entitled development property like this available with permits in place to start moving dirt right away," HRE Senior Vice President Jeff Azuse said. "The Fort Myers and North Fort Myers markets are very attractive and the demand for residences should continue to grow into the near future. The prime location gives future residents easy access to shopping, golf courses and all the amenities that south Florida offers."
