Procured Health has announced two new appointments to the company: Michael Blaszyk to the board of directors and Egon Doppenberg M.D. to serve on the Physician Advisory Council.
Blaszyk has been part of the health industry for over 15 years, having worked for Dignity Health, a San Francisco-based company, as the CFO, executive VP and Chief Corporate Officer. With the help of Blaszyk, Dignity Health increased from a $6 billion company to a $17 billion operation.
"I look forward to offering strategic guidance as the company continues to develop innovative solutions to eliminate unnecessary costs," Blaszyk said.
Doppenberg is a board-certified neurosurgeon who has been the associate medical director of neurosurgery and medical director of spinal surgery for Advocate Medical Group, in addition to having earned himself a place on the "Surgeon Leaders to Know" review in 2014.
"They (Procured Health) speak an evidence-based, data-driven language that physicians understand and they recognize the importance of cross-departmental collaboration to achieve sustainable savings," Doppenberg said.
"Having two such highly respected leaders join us is a testament to the work we’ve done and what we plan to accomplish in the future," Procured Health CEO Hani Elias said.
Procured Health, based in Chicago, is a leading company in health systems and has a vision to give patients better outcomes and efficiency in procedures.
