Re/Max Northern Illinois has introduced its first social media advertising program to promote newly listed homes.
The program will geotarget Re/Max listings on Facebook and Instagram, according to a press release. The ads will appear during the first 24 hours that a listing is on the market.
The ads will include pictures of the listed property and a portrait of the listing agent, and viewers will be able to click through to the agent’s website to see detailed information about the listing.
"There is a shortage of listings on the market these days, so there is great interest in new listings," Jack Kreider, executive vice president and regional director of Re/Max Northern Illinois, said in the release. "Listings get the most views during their first day on the market, and we believe this new ad campaign can capitalize on those factors to benefit both our brokers and their sellers. The results we achieved during our test period were outstanding."
The ad campaign launched in August after thorough testing, which ran from May to June, and the campaign is expected to continue through 2018.
