Oak Brook’s LiftMaster recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and its innovations in the garage door opener field.

Since its inception in 1967, LiftMaster has brought many innovations to the garage door opener field, including, its recent development of its MyQ technology, which allows property owners to access their openers via smartphones and other connected devices. LiftMaster was also the first manufacturer to incorporate Wi-Fi connectivity for its openers.
Over the years, LiftMaster has created rolling code technology to make properties more secure, photo eyes inclusion on garage door openers to make them safer and battery backups to ensure homeowners can use their openers during power outages.
