Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage continues to expand its presence in Chicago’s southwest suburbs with the acquisition of Wm C. Groebe & Co., making it the firm’s second recent takeover of a real estate/brokerage business in the area.
Wm C. Groebe does business as Groebe Real Estate in Palos Heights. Coldwell also recently acquired Chicagoland Realty Services in the West Loop area.
"Groebe Real Estate brings a storied history of residential and commercial real estate success across the Southwest suburbs of Chicago,” Fran Broude, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage president, said in a statement. “Through this acquisition, we can diversify and reinforce the services we provide customers in a pivotal area of the marketplace. We are pleased to work alongside William and his knowledgeable group of agents as we further differentiate ourselves from the competition.”
William Groebe, former owner of Wm C. Groebe & Co., said in the release that agents will be able to take advantage of Coldwell's technology.
"Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage commands a comprehensive suite of tools and technology,” Groebe said. “I look forward to watching our agents harness the power of those resources to not only expand their business, but provide their clients with an even higher level of real estate services."
