Combined Insurance, a supplemental insurance provider owned by Chubbs Co., will participate in the Department of Defense Military Spouse Employment Partnership.
In addition to the partnership, Combined will grant veteran and military spouses an interview with the company.
The partnership is an opportunity to connect military personnel and their families with hundreds of employers who have committed their businesses to hire and promote military spouse and veterans. Combined Insurance has been in partnership with the organization since its beginning in October, which was announced at the annual Induction Ceremony held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Building.
“It is an honor to be a part of this great partnership to further align Combined Insurance with the veteran community,” Bob Wiedower, Combined Insurance’s vice president of sales development and military programs, said in a press release. “Furthermore, I am proud to announce that we will guarantee any veteran, military spouse or individual with a military background an interview for a position with our company. We may not be able to guarantee a job, but we will gladly grant these individuals a conversation so that we can learn more about their career goals and see if we have a place in our company where they can achieve them.”
In conjunction with their partnership, Combined Insurance donates considerably to military and veteran-focused charities throughout the area.
