U.S. Rep. Martha McSally (R-Tucson) recently embarked on a National Anthem tour where she has already sung in front of over 2,000 people as part of her call for unity and patriotism in the country.

McSally began her National Anthem tour on Oct. 20, when she sang the National Anthem at three different events including at local football games and community events.  McSally sang to a crowd of 1,500 at the recent Empire High School vs. Tanque Verde High School football game in Tucson followed by a performance at the Bisbee 1000 Stair Climb.

“Our National Anthem is particularly moving for me,” McSally said in a press release. “As I sing it, I reflect on the sacrifice that our service members have made for our flag. This anthem brings us together. In a time of polarization, we can choose to work together to make our country strong.”

McSally has also sung the Anthem at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Noches de Exitos Gala, where she also helped to honor the 2017 Businessman and Businesswoman of the Year.

According to a press release from McSally’s office, McSally will continue to tour in the coming months as she sings the National Anthem for businesses, schools, community organizations, sporting events, athletic activities and for veteran’s groups.
