ILLINOIS STATE MUSEUM: 3rd Sunday Crafternoons

Join the Capital City Arts & Crafts group for conversation while practicing handcrafts (knitting, crocheting, embroidering, cross-stitching, hand-sewing, drawing, coloring) in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Illinois State Museum released the following announcement on Feb. 7.

Sunday, February 18, 2018 -1:30pm to 3:30pm

Event Venue: ISM Attrium

Event Audience: Adult

Fee: Free with Museum Admission

Join the Capital City Arts & Crafts group for conversation while practicing handcrafts (knitting, crocheting, embroidering, cross-stitching, hand-sewing, drawing, coloring) in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Bring a personal project to work on (one will not be provided). This group is for adults to meet and share ideas, their latest projects, tips & tricks, or get help when stuck. All skill levels welcome!

This meetup is organized by an outside group on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. Visit Capitol City Arts & Crafts on meetup.com or Facebook or contact capitalcityartscrafts@outlook.com for more information. On the day of the event, contact the Museum at 217-782-0979. Museum admission is required. Regular attenders are encouraged to join the Illinois State Museum Society for a year of free admission to this and other events and exhibitions.
