Evanston Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
TruFit Personal Training Studios is thrilled to announce it will host a morning workout dance party on Saturday, May 12, from 9:30AM-11: 00 AM at Evanston SPACE (1245 Chicago Avenue) to benefit local organization, Evanston Scholars.
The Wake Up & Dance Party will feature instructor-led dances with Symphony Sanders (certified Zumba coach and TruFit personal trainer) interspersed with open dance time, all set to a playlist of classic and modern dance/pop hits. All levels are welcome. Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and attire – PJs optional!
Coffee and tea will be included. Light gourmet snacks to fuel the workout will be provided by Dinner Belle Chicago. Mimosas and Bloody Marys may be purchased at the SPACE bar should anyone want an extra kick in their step.
Event proceeds will benefit the Evanston Scholars – a non-profit organization that improves college access and success for Evanston students (including first-generation college goers, low-income students, and students of color).
Tickets are $20 per person. Donations to the event are also welcome. To buy tickets, make a donation, or access more information, visit the TruFit events page: http://www.trufitpersonaltraining.com/events
