About 60.5 percent of the 81 degrees and certificates handed out by the Erikson Institute in 2016-17 were to students in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Chicago conferred 29 master's degrees and 20 certificates in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Child Development. Data shows the school gave out 29 master's degrees in Child Development, followed by 20 certificates in Child Development and 17 master's degrees in Social Work.

The institute enrolled 269 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in 269 programs.
