Graduates earn 885 degrees from Midwestern University-Downers Grove


About 85.2 percent of the 885 degrees and certificates handed out by the Midwestern University-Downers Grove in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Grove conferred 578 doctor's degrees and 176 master's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in Pharmacy. Data shows the school gave out 200 doctor's degrees in Pharmacy, followed by 194 doctor's degrees in Osteopathic Medicine/Osteopathy and 127 doctor's degrees in Dentistry.

The university enrolled 2,914 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in 2914 programs.
