About 34.5 percent of the 330 degrees and certificates handed out by the Saint Augustine College in 2016-17 were to students in Education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Chicago conferred 114 associate's degrees in Education programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Data shows the school gave out 114 associate's degrees in Early Childhood Education and Teaching, followed by 76 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies and 33 bachelor's degrees in Social Work.
The college enrolled 1,371 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
