About 35.7 percent of the 143 degrees and certificates handed out by the Vatterott College-Fairview Heights in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Heights conferred 39 associate's degrees and 12 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General. Data shows the school gave out 33 certificates in Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General, followed by 31 certificates in Welding Technology/Welder and 26 associate's degrees in Medical Office Management/Administration.
The college enrolled 346 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
