Illinois students paid $33,220 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $1,000 more than the $32,220 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 86 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 34 students received grants or scholarships totaling $324,861 and 50 students took out student loans totaling more than $486,701.
Including all undergraduates, 188 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.08 million. Another 269 took out $2.06 million in federal student loans.
