Cost of college went down for all students at Northwestern College-Chicago Campus


Tuition and fees fell 1.4 percent for 2017-18 at Northwestern College-Chicago Campus, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $17,475 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year $255 less than the $17,730 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 97 students received grants or scholarships totaling $564,551 and 104 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.54 million.

Including all undergraduates, 893 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.05 million. Another 833 took out $7.68 million in federal student loans.
