Cost of college went up for all students at Trinity Christian College

Tuition and fees rose 3.6 percent for 2017-18 at Trinity Christian College, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.


Tuition and fees rose 3.6 percent for 2017-18 at Trinity Christian College, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $28,675 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $1,000 more than the $27,675 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 188 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.09 million and 152 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.07 million.

Including all undergraduates, 1,070 students used grants or scholarships totaling $13.49 million. Another 920 took out $7.17 million in federal student loans.
