62 percent of applicants to Chamberlain University-Illinois were admitted for fall 2017


At Chamberlain University-Illinois, 89 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 90 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Addison enrolled 27,099 students in fall 2017, including 15,697 in undergraduate and 11,402 in graduate programs, data shows. 39.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (57 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (12 percent).

The school admitted 62 percent of the 50 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 74 percent enrolled.
