AbelsonTaylor nominated for multiple Trailblazer awards

Health and wellness marketing firm AbelsonTaylor has received eight finalist nominations for PM360's 2018 Trailblazer awards. 

In collaboration with Avanos, AbelsonTaylor earned a number of nominations for its work on the COOLIEF* project. Among them were the direct-to-patient launch category, product launch category, video/TV campaign and the consumer website/online initiative.

COOLIEF* is a minimally invasive treatment option targeting nerves that transmit pain signals, and the first and only radiofrequency treatment FDA-cleared for the relief of osteoarthritis knee pain.

The Chicago-based agency is also a finalist in the direct-to-patient launch category and the unbranded category for its work on the PBA campaign. PseudoBulbar Affect (PBA) is a medical condition causing sudden, frequent, uncontrollable crying and/or laughing that doesn’t match how you feel.

The #MyEpilepsyHero 2.0 campaign, for Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, is nominated in the social media campaign category. Lastly, in the self-promotion category for the AbelsonTaylor Leaps program, which was a chance for employees to design learning through projects and experiences that are meaningful to them.

The Trailblazer awards honor companies that have achieved excellence in healthcare marketing. This can take the form of innovation, or simply executing a task successfully and professionally. 

A PM360 Trailblazer award is highly regarded within the industry.
