Jersey County Business Association issued the following announcement on Nov. 13.
From Tuesday, December 4 – Saturday, December 15 we invite all of our local business members to join in a holiday adventure designed to get foot traffic into your business.
In order to participate, your business would pick a day out of our “12 Days” window to invite people to stop by and receive a punch on a special punch card. There is only a $25.00 fee to participate which goes entirely towards prize money to the winners. It’s up to you to decide how to best tailor this event to your interests but remember no purchase is necessary.
Examples of how businesses could use this promotion:
“Stop by our office between 10am-3pm to receive a punch.”
“Come by our location for coffee and cookies and get a punch.”
“Sign up for a raffle for ??? and get your punch.” (Collect emails and phone numbers for your next sales drive.)
“Get a punch for your card and get 15% off of a purchase of one item today.”
“Stop in to punch your card and stay for lunch or dinner.”
We will take as many businesses as we can fit into our 12 Days event, but the slots will fill up quickly. (Only current JCBA member businesses are able participate in this event. Anyone can play though!)
At the end of this week, on Friday, November 16, 2018 we’ll make a list of all the local businesses participating. The list of participating businesses will be published in local media outlets, here on the JCBA website, and on the back of the punch cards. Players will be required to visit around 75% of the total businesses involved in our campaign in order to turn in their punch card to the JCBA office for the grand prize drawing: a 1st place prize of $500 cash; 2nd place of $250 cash; and 3rd place prize of $100 in JCBA Gift Certificates.
