15.7 percent of Elmhurst College students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 15.7 percentage of Elmhurst College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Elmhurst College has 2,875 undergraduate students, of which 61 percent are women and 39 percent are men, and a total student body of 3,481 students. Of these students, 371 men and 174 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Elmhurst College with the most participants are football (124), soccer (59) and track and field, outdoor (48).
