Graduates earn 5,303 degrees, certificates from the College of DuPage


About 26.1 percent of the 5,303 degrees and certificates handed out by the College of DuPage in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Ellyn conferred 1067 certificates and 315 associate's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies. Data shows the school gave out 866 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies, followed by 342 certificates in general business administration and management and 341 associate's degrees in general studies.

The college enrolled 26,165 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
