Graduates earn 51 degrees from Tribeca Flashpoint College


About 52.9 percent of the 51 degrees and certificates handed out by Tribeca Flashpoint College in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Chicago conferred 21 associate's degrees and 6 bachelor's degrees in visual and performing arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in cinematography and film/video production. Data shows the school gave out 19 associate's degrees in cinematography and film/video production, followed by 19 associate's degrees in recording arts technology/technician and 5 associate's degrees in animation, interactive technology, video graphics and special effects.

The college enrolled 314 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
